Protect Your Windows From Heat

A customer from Freshwater on the Northern Beaches of Sydney contacted us for help with a solution to reducing heat to her easterly facing windows. The sun was a real issue in the mornings, heating up her rooms and in turn the entire house. As the sun entering the these windows was only an issue for the fist half of the day, she wanted something that could be retracted when not needed. At Signature Shutters and Blinds we had the perfect solution for her needs.

Pivot arm awnings can be installed above the windows and be extended or retracted as needed depending on the time of the day. When in the retracted position, the fabric sits within a fully enclosed headbox to protect it from the elements. Pivot arm awnings are available with manual or motorised operation.
