A customer of Signature Shutters and Blinds from North Turramurra called us in need of help with a doorway at the back of their house. The doorway was located in their living room area and was a wide expanse in need of privacy during the day and night. Our customer also wanted to have the option of having nothing on the doorway so they could retain the views to the back yard.

As the existing glass doors in the living room bi-folded outside and stacked back out of the way to the left and to the right, our expert team designed bi-folding plantation shutters to mirror this by opening inside the living room and stack to the left and right. This way the customer could have privacy whenever they wanted, or retain the views of the back yard.

To make the bi-folding shutters light and easy to use, our team installed a top track to take the weight of the panels and also a floor track to guide them as they slide open and closed. As seen in the featured images, bi-folding shutters offer privacy when needed or can be easily stacked away to open the space up.
